    Greetings Councilman Ramos,

We are please asking if you can help us with an epidemic Rat Infestation coming from the Forest Hill Terrace Garden Apartments at 325 Grafton Ave. Their Containers are Open and Overflowing Trash that has not been picked up is teeming with Rodents and Stench! The building at 285 Grafton has 2 containers overflowing is the culprit, effecting the neighbors at 290 Grafton, 776 DeGraw, 770 DeGraw and the other properties, all along the Back property lines to Heller Parkway. The City’s Rodent Control recently visited, but mentioned that the Apartment Complex was notified, but to no effect… Can you please help! This is become a Nuisance for the Community, as well as Unsanitary and Disease Spreading. Thank you for your help!!

Hi Anibal, It’s Shak the Barber from Untouchable Barbershop. I tuned in to the webinar on Friday May 15, 9:30 for the small business relief. I need to be guided in depth on loan forgiveness because my business is difficult to structure under their guidelines. Thank You.

I live at 272 Ridge Street. I left my recycling out and they never picked up my stuff this morning.

I pay taxes like everyone else. This is a disgrace, apart from not having street cleaning due to the current situation of hey do not care.

They left both of my neighbors bottles and cans all over the floor! This is not acceptable

    Dear Anibal.

I voted for you. Thank you for all that you are doing for our area and the city of Newark. I have been a long time resident across the street from our beautiful Branch Brook park for many many years. Due to the pandemic, March 15th I was laid off from my job at the new popular upscale French restaurant in Montclair called Faubourg. I filed for unemployment on March 18th. That same week my mother, sister and aunt became ill with covid-19. My mother transitioned on March 30th and my aunt 3 days later from complications due to the virus and my sister survived. During these harrowing weeks The New Jersey Department of Labor has failed to call, mail and/or email me necessary info regarding my claim. I am eligible. I recieved a confirmation number acknowledging that I successfully completed filing my claim. Weeks have gone by and i have not even recieved a call from them. It has been over 35 days. Wednesday I called UI a total of 129 times to try to speak to a representative who could explain to me exactly what is going on with my claim. I am grieving and also living in fear of my financial situation. I desperately need your help. If there is Anything you can do to get them to contact me or a way that i can contact someone at the NJ Department of Labor I would forever appreciate it.

    My info: Dwight Ewell

    Contact: 862.273.2740

If there is any other info you need i will gladly get it to you.

    Please help.

I am writing to you exploring the possibility that you can help me in my job search. I have a Master in Social Work plus 18 credits in Administration and Supervisión. I have the New Jersey State Certification to practice the profession. For more than 25 years I worked in the Department of Education in Puerto Rico. My situation is my limitation with the English language. I am currently taking a course to bridge the language gap, however I need a job. There is a population the Spanish-speakers to whom I could provide my services. I hope you will consider me the possibility of interview.

    Thank you.

In your post listing the supermarkets in Newark that have senior only hours you left out Whole Foods which is open for seniors only from 8am to 9am.

Very bad potholes on doremus avenue between Port Street and Wilson avenue. To top it off there are no street lights on in the morning so you can’t even see them. Very dangerous

    Number not in service.

Bus stop changed from well lit corner to dark rat infested hooker controlled block. I leave for work at 5:30am. I inquired and got those lights installed on Irving and Broadway. No compassion for the residents in this area.

Please be advised that the site: appears to be infected and my security software prevents me from accessing the website so I can request that my service line be checked.

This has been previously reported and yet this issue remains. Please ask the City IT Staff or the website vendor to run a security scan or contact me so I can send them my log files.

This needs to be quickly addressed as this lead issue is gathering steam and this will only make matters worse for our Citizens and those trying to provide services to them.

dear sir. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact your office to no avail. i have sent emails to no avail. I have called the police several times and yet nothing is done. We have lived in newark at the same location paying taxes for over 20 years and in one year our area is becoming a cesspool of illegal activity and no one seems to care. There is an auto repair shop on the corner of 1st avenue and rosevillle named felitos auto and they have cars parked allover the sidewalks on the street and they have illegal underage workers moving these vehicles to and from the location. There is a food truck that operates with out a license that plays loud music and sells liquor into the night and parks a trailer on the street and gets no tickets all this from this eyesore of a business. We need someone to look into the illegal car sales going on the illegal drug sales, repair work outside and in the street, illegal cars with no insurance plates etc. and drug use going on by their very own workers. Please try and do something about this before we have to move or someone get hurt.
