Want to Become one of Newark's Bravest?

Councilman Anibal Ramos Jr. is hosting a free seminar with Newark Fire Capt. Jose Robles for residents who want to learn more about what it takes to become a firefighter in Newark.

In order to be considered for a job, all candidates must take the firefighter's exam.

Women are especially encouraged to attend the seminar.

The deadline for applying for the next exam is Aug. 31.

We will have on-site registration for the exam.

The cost is $35 to register for the exam, and you must have a credit card to pay.
