We are collecting donations on behalf of the American Red Cross for some 50 people who lost their belongings in a four alarm fire in an apartment building on Mount Prospect Avenue over the weekend.

Please bring donated items to my office at 646 Mount Prospect Avenue.

If you’d rather donate money, please make your check to the American Red Cross and indicate “For Mount Prospect Avenue - Newark fire” in the memo. Thank you for supporting your neighbors at their time of need.
