Beginning November 2012, many residents of the North Ward began complaining to my office about an increase in noise from airplane traffic.

The Forest Hill Community Association (FHCA) organized an Air Traffic Committee, which has been working with an organization called PlaneNoise to study the impact of changing aircraft procedures and the resultant increase in aircraft noise.

One of their action items is to collect complaints about airplane noise. There are two ways to file an aircraft noise complaint:

1. File a complaint via a website.
2. Leave a voicemail on an airport noise complaint hotline 1-800-225-1071.
